Andrew Guenther (b. 1976) is an American visual artist whose work encompasses painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture. The foundation of his work is hard to categorize, underpinned by a sense of nihilism and dueling examination of authenticity. Guenther contemplates disruptions, accepting them as a formal guide for his creative process. His images and works are brave in their simplicity and whimsy, erring on the offensive for their strange and illogical juxtapositions. Guenther currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
